In this project the BER
performance for QPSK, 16-QAM and 64-QAM are analyzed with turbo coding and
without turbo coding. Turbo coding will give
better performance when compared to uncoded system.
As extension, other
higher order modulation schemes 256-QAM and 1024-QAM are considered.
When the modulation
order is increasing the BER performance will degrade.
But always the coded
system will perform better than uncoded system.
